Is your guest list ready?
Holi is colorful festival that brings people together; it is all about having fun, spraying Holi colors and throwing parties. A Holi party can be made more fun filled and exciting with proper planning and execution, as well.
1. Fixing of the Venue
It could be your place or mine! Somehow holi is not played at home with just people, the more the better. Holi venue could be decided as a place when many people come to one place and then they have all the fun. Fix the venue and start sending the invitation card.
2. Prepare the Guests List & Send the Invitation
Jot down the guest list and just shoot the invitations through SMS, Email or even the paper made invitation for Holi. This shouldn’t be tough as you can send it to your friends, colleagues or family well in advance. Just make sure that the excitement starts reflecting from the invitation.
3. Play my Song (Music Preparation)
A Holi party is incomplete without music! You can fix up a DJ or arrange a dance floor. You can also ask some of your guests to give a live music or dance performance to make the party time livelier. High beat folk and western numbers will be ideally suitable for Holi party. They can start preparing well in advance for the event.
4. Food Menu
Consider who is visiting, do consider their choice while preparing for the food menu. If you are having a very large gathering you can even get someone to cook for your event. But asking your guests in advance for their choice of food would make them feel special and engaged.
5. Holi Colors
There are many options but avoid the hard paints to keep things simple and the event memorable. There are also herbal holi colors available that can be used and that can also be removed easily after the event is over. Remember, its not about how long the paint lasts on someone that makes it a perfect holi BUT its how easy for your guests.
Whats more special about the event is the venue should be well decorated, you can get a lot of stuff to decorate your space with:
- Colorful Plates
- Table Covers
- Colorful Chairs
- Dining Items
Hope you have a nice holi!
